Default 295/45/17 or 315/35/17 with TTM 10.5

I am getting pair of TTM torque thrust M wheels in 10.5 size.
I already just bought a set of 295/45/17 et street radial figuring they would fit without any wheel lip rolling or BFH being necessary.thats BIG FRAKIN HAMMER!
But now wondering if should have got 315/35/17s instead..bit wider and maybe no problems with them being shorter.

Anyone running either of these tires and if so did you have to hammer or roll?

I use to run 315's on my old TT2's with the car lowered and had to massage the inner fender. I didn't roll the fender lip when i had them, but i should have. I think you will like the 295's better all around and my guess would be you won't have to do anything to the inner fender, but if your car is lowered i would be you SHOULD roll the fender lip on it. I love how a taller tire feels the fender gap on the TA's

You shouldn't have to do much to get those on the car. I have them on my car and I didn't have to do anything.

Yeah my car is stock height. Finally found some 10.5 TTM chrome in stock so can order those now. Be great if don't have to do much a bit of inner hammering would be ok but didn't want to mess with fender rolling. Mightymouse got 1.33 60ft with these 295/45/17 bit better than when he ran 315/35/17s. I don't expect to get similar 60ft as don't have tbrake and not running race type suspension just have kyb agx shocks currently, stock springs, hotchkis lower control arms and bmr relocation brackets, bmr crossmember mounted adjustable torque arm, spohn adjustable panhard.
Wonder what can get for 60fts? I do have yank py3400,3.54 gears and msd two step.
car will hit the track this coming season for first time.I would think a 1.5x should be doable maybe?

That's deff doable I've been getting mid to low 1.50's out of my car and i still have some suspension mods that really need to be done. I'm about to install the lca relocation brackets, strange rear shocks, and a TRZ anti roll bar. I should see some good improvements with the 60 especially when I get the tbrake.

I always had good luck with the 295/45/17 mickeys, but I'm swapping over to the M&H 275/50/17 just to try them out.
