I sold my black car to my dad, and he just improved my time! He ran at Palm Beach International Raceway, and also ran a couple 11.5's to back it up.

The cars raceweight was probably around 3200, and the same old setup SS3600, and full bolt-ons.

Whats all done to the car? I got about the same power and about a 100 lbs more but there is now way I would get close to that time.

car has typical stuff, pacesetters LT's, lid, pulley, ported TB,SSRA, and ran a short belt for the track.. car has stock 3.23 gears as well

UMI 3 point SFC, adj torque arm, LCA brackets,and non adj LCAs, stock shocks and springs all around as well as stock sway bars..

Thanks, the da was good probably around -1 or 200, but could definitely get better :). It was still high 40's low 50's...

did you stall it all the way up or flash stall it for the launch ?...thats really impressive...that car sounds alot like mine with the 3.23 gears...maybe i can run an 11.5 stock internal...id probly shit my pants...

I hate myself for moving up here sometimes. I sure miss racing in FL in Jan-Feb...

Very nice times, I'm working my way towards having about the same mod, but sitting at about 400 lbs. more as far as raceweight right now. I'd be happy if I can punch into th 11's SI by the time I'm done modding.

Nah the run in my sig was with some 245 nittos... they may as well be street tires though. I got a moser 9in for Christmas though, so you should start whatchin your back :D

Cool man good luck with it. It'll be fun to have some good competition this year. My car has actually been down for the past several months and it's been killing me! I have a part coming in this weekend that will hopefully get it race ready again. I've also got some stuff laying in the garage that will drop almost another 200 lbs :secret2:

Does the short belt really help the times at the track?

you guys are my heroes especially nnsane doing it on a six speed...its truely sad that it took full bolt ons AND a 100 shot for my car to see 11's.

what's the launch technique?? how can i get my car in the 11's without the bottle??
