Default fluids question

flushing out the cooling system after a head gasket went bad. My question is would it be ok to use only distilled water in the system to work out the crap before i return to the DEXCOOL fluids.

Distilled water is the ONLY water you should ever put in the system.

And yes, it's fine to run straight water (distilled) so long as you're in a climate where it doesn't get below freezing.

DO NOT use Dex coolant! It eats away at seals and gaskets.

It will eat away nothing more than any other type of coolant so long as it's changed regularly.
