Generation IV External Engine - 4 barrel efi w ETC

If I have a 05 GTO which has drive by wire how do I make my new 4 barrel throttle body work.
Do I need to do a computer change since the computer may rely on throttle position or can I put a throttle position sensor with a cable throttle to send signal to the computer?
I am in the final stages of my build and had not thought about this till now

I read a post on 1-11-10 that john@scoggin was saying possibly needing to go to a f-body or truck computer for a swap like this???

Some custom machining, and you could probably put an ETC motor/TPS on a 4 barrel throttle body.

That's exactly what I was thinking!
