Wha. Factory alignment settings are not designed to intentionally wear the inside of the tire. They are designed to maintain even tire wear for the type of vehicle, intended use, and the average person's driving style. Other than OEM settings may be set depending on intended use and driving style. If you're wearing the inside of the tire, then your alignment is too aggressive for your driving style and/or the car setup.

I got my car new back in 2007. I can't tell you how many tires I've gone through. Each wears the same, the insides of the front and rears go first. This was the case before I got the Eibach springs and after. If you stand behind the car you will see that the rear tires are angled inward, thus the innermost part of the tire wearing out quicker. Many performance cars are aligned this way.

yea i did 255/40s for now, i want 275s in the rear but putting 20k+ miles a year, i'd be buying a lot of those 275s lol (guess it's the same cause still replacing tires but the 275s are usually a bit more $$$$$)

The inside of my tires were bald and when I had the dealer install my new tires for me the service manager said that was normal for a V as they have a very aggressive alignment from the factory.

front end align
i just bought a V with Eibach's. it had 27k miles with the original fronts...
I noticed when i bought it the neg. camber since the tires were tilted inward
the insides of the fronts were worn badly... i since bought 2 new tires of better quality NON RUN FLATS for the front...For $20.00 shipped i bought off of fleabay Eibach EZ Cam Bolts part # 5.81260K-----i hope this bolt kit helps.

I logged in here today to make this EXACT same post. I just happened to park with my wheels turned today and noticed that the very inside is wearing of the fronts are almost to the threads when the rest of the tire looks maybe 50-60% worn. I've had the car for almost 20k miles (bought it July 09) and LOTS of playing hard on the back roads.
Looks like I'm getting new tires this week..haha. I guess this is pretty normal for this car. I'll throw some better bushings on the suspension and solid mounts everywhere I can this summer and go from there I guess.
