Thanks for the help but I looked at the codes in glove box and said that mine would be 2.73 according to the info I got from the sticky on top of page was there different options in different years?

yes your car probably has 2.73's and those were an option but the ws6 rear your talking about has 3.23s if it an auto or 3.42's if its a manual...I believe all ws6's and camaro SS had those to gear options only...now z28's formulas I think 2.73's were an option with the auto trans. hopefully this helps you out.
