Default Throttle Body Question!!!!

Is there a difference in a 98-99 and the 00-02? If so what is the difference that would cause be not to be able to run a 00-02 on my 99' camaro?

From what I gather the difference is in the size of the Throttle Blade cam, smaller on the 98-99's, larger on the 00+. If you have traction control you can run the 00+ on yours, but you'll need to adjust your throttle cable.

the only difference i know of is that a 98 has a smaller cam on it so if you put it on a 99-02 car it might have some excessive slack in the throttle cable... other than that i think they are the same, correct me if i'm wrong... rtr2001ss beat me to it lol... as he stated, if you have tcs you can adjust the slack out but if you don't have tcs you will have to rig up something inside the car where the gas pedal meets the cable

Actually going from a smaller TB Cam to a larger one will result in a tighter cable.

Yep, 98-99 are the same and 00-04 are the same.
