How do you pull them out without them breaking? Vise grips?

Vise grips will remove them, but the tubes will be destroyed. You are not going to put them back in are you? Disconnect the lines, and leave them in there. If there is no coolant in there, they don't do anything.

All .5 oz..lol

If you are that hard-up about them Dremel them off and smooth out where they were. I did that with my LT1.

i was kidding, i wanted to polish the TB and since I have a coolant bypass anyway I figured I would just remove them. I stuck a drift in the one tube with the 90deg bend and wiggled it back and forth while spraying some WD-40 on it until it came out, then i stuck the drift in that side and used a small hammer to knock the other one out. I doubt I will put them back in but i could if i wanted to because they came out unharmed
