Default Has anyone bought one of those S & P EGR block-offs for LS1 ?

Just curious how you like it? It's the billet piece that fills in the whole area in the EGR section at the front of the manifold behind the throttle body.

Everyone else that sells a block-off kit sells just a "plug" for the hole. These are more finished out.

I'm also afraid to ask how much it set you back cost wise? I know Street and Performance are proud of their stuff sometimes.

Have not bought one but the catalog has them at $48. I will make my own for that price.

i have one installed in my intake. i put a little rtv around it and havent had a single issue with it.

GM sells an EGR block-off plate for about $10.00. It is a steel stamping, complete with rubber seal. The publication "LS1 Engine Kit Installation" from GM has the P/N, or you may be able to find it on the GM Performance parts website. We used one for our swap - works good.
