I have a 96 WS6. I want to get rid of my stock non polished wheels and get something else. I also plan on lowering the car. I had a set of eibach sportlines on my 95 t/a and loved the stance. I will probably go with something similar, if not the same thing on this car.

So with my car lowered, what is the widest tire I can go with before I have clearance issues. I really want something wider in the back.

I am interested in both 17" and 18" wheels.

I am looking to get wheels soon and I don't want to have clearance issues if and when I decide to lower it.

I know backspacing matters, so I am interested in going with stock ws6 wheels, zr1's, c5 z06's, and deep dish c5's.

I have 295/35/18's on the back of mine and i had to use a small spacer. I used the spacer because they didnt rub when i would be going straight but if i would turn and have a little body roll they would rub so i used the spacer and it took care of that problem.

315's should work with BFH'ing depending on the tire. I had Nitto's on my lowered car and they fit fine, but when I switched to a BFG KD they rubbed on the inner fender.

I had 315/35/17 before the wheels i have now but i dont know about tires any bigger with the 18's without a spacer. Is anyone running any bigger than 295 without spacers?
