Default Seat problem. Help me plz!

My seat has a huge gap in it where the back of the seat meets the bottom. No matter how far back or foward u adjust the seat the gaps still there. This is only my driver seat so i know somethings wrong. Ill try to get some pics asap. Does anyone know what im saying tho? If so can i fix it or do i need another seat? Open to any help! thanks

Questions...year, make, model? cloth or leather? How many miles are on the seats? Until you can answer these for the forum...I'd say it's more than likely excessive wear and tear. BTW if you've got pics they would help too.

Is there away to adjust the back of the seat closer to the bottom of it? if not how much does a seat cost?
This is actually a project car right now. Its a 99 z28. 88k miles. ebony leather interior.

it appears to be a case of fat ***, it looks like the springs and or frame bent on the lower part of the seat. you could try a salvage yard or maybe ordering the lower frame from gm, if that turns out to be the problem.

Are you sure the cover itself hasn't just come off? Check underneath at the back. It may be hog ringed on but it also might just be a plastic piece that clips in to another plastic piece. Lean the back of the seat forward and see if you can't just pull the fabric back...
