New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - exhaust cme question?

Im currenty running borla exhaust on my z but i was going to switch it over to cme. I was wondering do i have to buy a whole new exhaust system or can i use my borla exhauts and buy some new tips and what ever else it takes? Any links would be helpful. I was also wondering were to buy the back ground effect thing for the cme. Thanks

You can use the 90 degree bends that come with it and use your same muffler.

you could have an exhaust shop bend the tubing , as for the muffler you just need anything with a dual out, or you could do true duals

+1 on what he said. I have a TD 2.5 X pipe, to a GMMG catback into a quad tip CME. I have a thread up about it in the external. With 2 not that great video's cause of the wind.

I converted my borla catback to cme. It was not a problem to have done and it looks and sounds awesome. Do you have the regular borla catback or the one with the adjustable plates? The adjustable setup may take a bit more fabrication to do. The other borla, you just need the 90' bends and the tips. If you need the bends, i have a brand new set of 2.5" stainless bends i will let go real cheap.
