Local guy wants to sell me a good set of parts... advice needed.
Hey guys,
So there's a local guy that's about to turn in his V and is equipped with good parts. He has the following:
B&B exhaust
Kooks 1 7/8 headers
K&N intake
predator tuner
I know how much these things are new, but considering that they're 2 years old and he needs my oem parts to replace his once taken off, what's a reasonably good offer for all of it? I don't want to low ball, but I don't want to get screwed either.
What do you guys think?
Thanks as always!
Tony

Good advice Skull.
The point is the seller is trying to go stock before turning in his V. I'm pretty sure he is not trying to trade in his V with no exhaust.

hmm..... i think i might throw down 1000.
Does Jamie have a dyno at his facility? I ask because i may simply go with the seller to Jamie to swap out parts, and was hoping to get a baseline of my car beforehand, and possible tune it there on after.

It doesn't hurt. I didn't because I did not feel like waiting 2-3 weeks for them to come back. I wanted them ASAP.
Good luck!

Tony,
I sent you an email message. Plenty of local shops can coat your headers in 1-2 days if you chose that option. Good luck, you will love the sound of your car once the headers and exhaust are done, you will never listen to the stereo again.

I was saying in general you should try to hold on to your own exhaust. However if you get your jollys off on disagreeing with me just for the sake of disagreeing, I truly hope that post brought you enjoyment.

Dude, get those parts for 750-1000. That's a good deal
+1 for Jaimie installing it.
He doesn't shower on the weekends but he's your man.
