O2 sensor ?

O2 sensor ?
What brand o2 sensors are the best? I am currently running Bosch that dont last more than a few months. I looked into GM o2s, which are actually made by NTK, and those cost 130bucks each. Does anyone have the part number for the NTK or even Denso sensors? BTW I'm working on an 02 Z28 with long tubes.

Don't think NTK,
are going to be any more durable than Bosch (who patented most of this car electronic stuff anyway).
The issue is more of what's killing your o2's in such a short time.

There is no better sensor than the Denso sensors. They are better than the original AC Delcos.....and thats why GM is now using them as their own 02 sensor. If you get them at the dealership you will get the Densos in an AC Delco box. You will pay upwards of of $180 per sensor......or you can go to www.rockauto.com and get them with the 11.81" long wire/plug for $45.00.
Its a much better design than the AC Delco and are by-far the best on the market.
You can also get them at Bennett but they're more than www.rockauto.com.

Bosch are garbage, for the most part. Some have luck with them though. My engine literally will not run with Bosch sensors, engine barely stays running. Take them out and screw in Densos or the older AC Delco design and the engine runs PERFECT. Bosch sensors don't just suck for me, they simply do not work.
you want make a statement like that. Then mention only about YOUR experience.
Bosch parts are probably used in more cars than any other electronic manufacturer on the planet. I would imagine the millions of cars with Bosch o2s modified or stock are all running just fine.

Since I run my car with the long term fuel trims deactivated does this make life harder on my O2's? Other then having long tube headers I cant think of a reason why I am harder on my o2 sensors then the next guy.
I looked at a new sensor at my local dealership and it had NTK stamped on it.
Not wanting to argue but it looks like NTK makes the oem sensors instead of Denso.

Might make your Short Term Fuel-Trims pretty frantic though.
It's more the contaminants that kill them (water, etc)
