Default Which Loudmouth is which?

I have two loudmouth resonators and don't know which one is which. I called SLP and they told me the one with the holes inside (longer resonator) is the loudmouth II and the straight pipe is loudmouth I. I looked on their website and compared both resonators and the longer casting looks like the loudmouth I (not the overall length because they are both 18 1/4", but the actual resonator before it reduces to 3") Can anyone help? Thanks

The muffler with the holes & fiberglass packing is the LM2 muffler.
The straight through muffler is the LM1 muffler.
The LM2 muffler will have a more refined tone & be slightly quieter.
Neither sound good without cat converters, IMO.
They are the same length so that they are interchageable.

Actually they are both LM2 mufflers. The smooth one resembles the original LM and the one with the holes is a little quieter version. The LM1 resonator is not removable without a sawzall.

Are you sure? On SLP's website they say that both resonator's are able to switch each other.

Loudmouth 2 = Muffler w/ Holes in it
Loudmouth 1 = Resonator w/ straight through design.

What SLP told you is right, i have the LM2 on my Camaro and had it on my totaled Z28. They both look just like the one with the holes in it and both muffler/resonators can be switched on either system.

Thanks. I'll be selling both so you'll see these in the classified section.
