Question Best place to get Hypercoils

I called Hypercoil, but they quoted me a price of $299 + shipping

If anyone can provide me with a link to a cheaper place to get these springs for my 01 SS, I'd much appreciate it!

Thanks,
Shane

Checked with them, they only have Pro kits available.

By "checked with them", do you mean you looked at their website or you called?

I coulda swore I saw where Lou posted about having HC springs in stock ...

Nope. I called and they said that they didn't have any Hypercoils.

It was posted back in Nov, but LG posted about having a sale, the one mitch mentioned. They might be out of stock, but definatly a better deal than mentioned above

However, we do have the Hypercoil springs in stock and on sale for $169 per set.

I bought mine through a buddy who got them through a group purchase with LG, but that was last year. Hypercoils aren't the most common springs used, which is one of the reasons I jumped on them, but if you can find them I'd for sure buy them...I LOVE them! My buddy paid $165 for all four in the group purchase. You might want to ask Lou if he plans on getting anymore in the future. They are worth the wait if you can! Good luck!

Yeah, I might just do that.

I'm not one to make a bunch of changes to my car, so I just want to make sure that if I change something that I'll only do it once... unless of course a part fails.

To be quite honest, I'm not really sure what I want. I do know that I want a car that sits not too low and yet, not too high either. Once I pick out a spring for sure, then I'll have to consider what shock to use since that is a whole different beast entirely. On that note, I don't want a overly firm ride, but I surely do not want to be bouncing out of control either.

I bought mine from www.hypercoils.com and told them I was a ls1tech member and they sold me a set for about $214 which I thought was very fair. Would not touch Pro kits. Made my last 99 drive like doo doo. Love the hyperco's. Call them up again and try that. Good luck.

Sweet, nice tip! I'll give that a try when I get back from vacation. Going to the exotic land of Chicago for a week.

I have had my Hypercoils on now for 2 years.
Man, you simply can't beat em'. IMO!
These are very similar to the LG supersprings.
Don't compromise, if LG can get them, they are well worth the wait.
