(JUST AN IDEA) dfw mod party???
Its just an idea to toss out but I had mention the idea of getting a group of cars together to have a mod party? The size of the job would have to be limited as we wouldn't get a lot of cars done if we all got stuck on a 6hr build! Lol, anyways I seen the vette guys do this a few months back and thought to my self how this would be a good idea on how I can get some hands on experiance by working on our cars.. ideas are welcome and I would offer my garage! Its not the biggest garage but I can fit 2 cars in it and 2 in the alley driveway too? I think it would be fun! We could get a few beers and make it a day of turnin wrenches... come peops chime in? And adam your more then welcome to be a part of this if you want! I'm sure there are a few of us that would like to get some stuff done the the V

Well, for now its just maintenance work. I have to install a new starter but I'm still waiting for it to come because its on back order. I plan on installing my shift shift eliminator and I just found out that I may have a small radiator leak so im in the process of having that checked out within the next week... Really I just wanted to see if I could get some V guys together so I can learn how to work on my own car... I have a guy that will do the starter for $70 if I cant find someone to show me how to do it.. If you want to help then I would for sure be willing to even do the work if you just tell me what I need to do? lol, I sound like an idiot but I have to learn somehow... lol

This is good to see guys. I wish there were more V owners near me. I would like to try some maintenance things (bleeding the clutch, replacing diff fluid etc) on mine but I've never done it myself and it's about time I learn.

I came across a thread a few months ago on the vette forum and they were doing this! I thought it was a great idea and a good way to meet other people that love to work on cars and also for those like me who want to learn...

Dammit, Crest would not warranty my motor mounts or rear diff bushing. I will need to jump on a "mod party" weekend soon.
Anyone local done motor mounts before?

We all need to agree on a weekend day and plan it out so that we can guarantee a good turn out! Im offering my place! Its not the biggest but I could fit 4 cars in the back. 2 in the garage and 2 in the driveway... I think this would be a good way for all of us to finally meet, have fun and do what it is that we all like to do! Work on our cars and go for a cruise after!
