Default 97 LS1 DBW to DBC

I've tried searching but haven't been able to find any specifics on this year. I am looking to purchase an LS1 from a 97 corvette that has DBW. My question is will I have to rewire the harness, get a new TB, and reprogram the pcm as outlined here?: http://www.lt1swap.com/cable_conversion.htm
Also, does the 97 pcm support DBC? Thanks in advance guys.

The 97-98 computers have different pinouts for the PCM connectors. Do not use 99+ info. The concept is the same, however you'll need 97-98 specific info. The 97-98 Camaro/Transam LS1 used the same computer WITH cable throttle. If you use 97-98 f-body schematics for the info as where to put the TPS and IDLE controller pins, then you have it made. Reprogram PCM for camaro/transam of course too.
