Default 3 bar

i dont really know how to describe my problem.
i have a mustang, lq4 swap, i have a truck harness that i pinned to match the 2002 camaro harness.... minor differences...
the pcm i am using is a 2002 camaro one,
there is a 3 bar tune in it.
i have a 3 bar map.
i hook up hp tuners on vcm scanner. and the map sensor reads 105kpa not running... i change it to read boost.
i can get it to change values when i pull a vacuum on the sensor but will not change when i apply pressure to it.
The voltage changes under vacuum and boost but the kpa/boost/psi gauge wont change (with boost) no matter how i set it up.

i have checked continuity through the wires... i have double checked pin position, i have changed sensor with a known good one.
i'm not even sure i have a problem.

Is your scanner setup for the 3bar MAP?

Turn key to run, not on. Start scanning and then stop and close the log. Goto the TABLE view. Delete the MAP sensor. Right click on the table and insert, choose 3bar MAP.

i have done this,
still give me a change in value except voltage when i read map volts, now if i set up to read boost and i pull a vacuum it will go from 0 boost to what ever vacuum i am pulling.(in negatives)

it acts like i have maxed out the capabilties of the map sensor... or so it thinks, so it wont recognize values above that... i'm going to run it on another lap top tomorrow maybe my install has a flaw in it somewhere or something got messed with that we are unaware of.

Did you change the MAP scaler and offset?

isn't 105 prettymuch atmospheroic?? wouldn't this be normal to read 105 without it running? Have you put pressure on the sensor and see what it reads?

Yes 105 is correct. He stated in his first post that the sensor changes voltage under pressure so it sounds like it is working.

I imagine he has something wrong with his scanner settings. I wonder if he has run the car to see what it will do?

scanner issues was the problem.
now i cant seem to get the engine to smooth out. it will idle at 14.7 and when i accelerate it will go lean and bog. i have been up and down the ve table with no change. so i put it back the way it was from original tune. i have added fuel through IFR. it goes rich but still goes lean and bogs during acceleration.......
tuning sucks
