To Build or Not to Build
Hey I just bought an 01 Z28 A4 TTops Lthr totally stock in perfect condition w/30k miles and one owner. Should I put in a box open it in ten years and sell it; or do what I usually do and drop heads, cams, exhaust, 3.73's and the usual other mods in it and say to hell with intrinsic value? This is my fourth camaro.

30k miles is far too many to be of any significant collector value when the car is only 19 years old. So if you want to sell it in 10 years, don't expect a profit no matter what you do. If you store it for the next 30-40 years, you'd have a better shot at real collector value.
Otherwise, just do with it whatever makes you happy.

I agree with this. With the new model already out, and 30k on it, it's probably depreciated reasonably. 30K is still nice, low miles, and its probably mint. Beef 'er up, and have some fun, while still having a fresh car! Even if you add 10k to it after the build, a true enthusiast will see the value in the quality of the parts/work, and the relatively low miles Good luck with whatever you choose to do!
