So I have done searches for days now and still can't find the info i need. I want to get my TCS/Cruise Control out of the car. What is needed to accomplish this? I read something about a different Throttle Cable.....Thanks in advance

you have to buy a non-tcs cable. I went with a lokar cable and it works fine with the stock bracket.

Would you happen to have the part number by chance, or point me in the right direction to find one?

this is the one I used. Its a little long and needed to be cut down so it wouldn't flap around. If you don't want to cut it, you could probably route it around the intake to get rid of the slack. thats the way I think it was meant to be installed.

The GM cable is only like $34 and you can get it from the dealer. I've done a couple now. They also have the cruise control cable for non-tcs, so you can keep the cruise and lose the tcs.

i thought removing TCS on a TCS car would trigger the ABS not to work properly? TCS is a 4-channel rear (reluctor rings on each wheel) while a non-TCS car is a 3-channel (3 sensors total, sensors on both fronts and one sensor on the ring gear)

just thought id throw that in for consideration

I could use it too...my car has cruise and no TCS...I love and intend to keep the cruise...but I damaged the small tab on the regular throttle cable that keeps it attached properly to the bracket...I want to get a new one on order.

GM 5.7L W/O Traction Control 12565559

Wont pulling it off a tcs car cause the ABS to not function right?? Seems like I read that somewhere.

Keep in mind the throttle cam changed over the years so be sure to match the new cable to your car. One size does not fit all

BTW, I spent a great deal of time getting cruise to work again. I dont see how people drive long distances without it
