Just wanted to say thanks:thumb: I was wondering if anybody on this site recognizes or owned the car that I have been pulling parts from. It is a dark blue 2000 LS1/6spd T-top w118K, SS hood, and was damaged on the right front. Vin#G1FP22GTY2124944. All the receipts for gas etc in the car are from areas in or near Orange county California, I know there are a lot of you on here. It is now in Oregon.
So far I have robbed the wiper motor, fog light bulbs, LCA relocation brackets, some interior plastic, smooth air lid, Hotchkiss 3 piece strut tower brace, rear slotted rotors, Guldstrand adj. rear panhard bar, and H&R sport spring kit complete with Bilstein HDs for all 4 corners. Get this.....all for $170 total!!! Just wanted to say thanks and am curios about the history on this car, sad to see it the way it sits now. Obviously it was owned by an enthusiast that is sure to be on this site or be known buy someone who is.

That would be a huge find, but it's not. The VIN #'s do not match up :(
Congrats on your find, but I hope you are buying these parts from a reputable salvage yard and not some chop shop.

Yeah, it is all legit. It is from a very reputable auto wrecking yard here. They have been around for years. If it was a stolen car they would be in some hot water! If it is let me know I'll send the 5.0 their way...the Vin# is in the first post. I think I just lucked out on prices. I really only went in for a wiper motor and then started digging through the pile inside found some parts, then started looking at the rest of the car for coils, shocks, LCA brackets etc. They just just know they had the stuff in the U-pull yard.
They want a bunch for the motor ($2900) and the T56 ($1800) though!!!

I don't know how to post the pics up, but this car had stock wheels, no billet grille, it HAD very dark window tint, Fifedogg would be glad it isn't his because he wouldn't want it back at this point.

Hood is gone and I can't find it anywhere ( I wanted it too!)...from their pics it is damaged in the right front a little I believe. I know a guy on the inside and I need to ask if it is still in the private lot or hiding somewhere.
As for the tail lights they are there and I believe they are in good condition. PM me if you really want me to grab them for you I don't know how much they will ask, but judging from everything else not too much! They have more than one out there just the others aren't Z28s. It has good T-tops too, front spindles and bearings/ upper A-arms, front fogs (no bulbs) but doubt I can get the key for the T's. It also has a 3.42 posi rear. If you guys need parts PM me and I will see if it has it on it. Hell I'll strip the whole damn car no point in wasting the fallen Z28's.
