Default Made a change to my magnaflow catback *video*

My car was too quiet with the mufflers that come on the magnaflow catback, so I decided to ditch em. I welded up a pair of Magnaflow 14416s, which are a 4" round 14" long, 2.5" inlet/outlet muffler. Tell me what you guys think. I really love the new sound! Hardly any drone, and its got a quiet cruising sound.

I hate the rasp when you shift...did it do that before with the headers and cat-back..because my magnaflow w/out headers doesn't do that.

Sounds much better minus the rasp. Mine doesn't do that either.

sounds good, the rasp sounds like you might have a leak in the flex section of your mid pipes.

The rasp comes from the headers/ x pipe combo guys. Its a very common sound in the LSx vehicle community.

Sounds great! I like the bit-o-rasp personally. I have Corsa's now and I wish they where a little "raspier". My 'stang did the same thing with Magnaflows - I may have missed it, but are you running an x-pipe?

Throw a resonator on there to get rid of the raspy sound.

Sounds great!!! I love a little rasp. I wil be going with a magnaflow x-pipe and the Borla S-type mufflers which are the same mufflers sold in the Stinger catbacks for Cobras. I loved the stingers on my cobra.

I see a few of you guys cut out your magnaflow mufflers to replace them with flowmasters or different magnaflows as the OP. Do any of you happen to have those mufflers still? I need some mufflers badly. I currently have stock manifolds, test pipes/cat delete, x pipe and no mufflers. It sounds like garbage.
