Mine came out perfectly. You must have gotten a 'bad apple'.

Default Problem's with my wings west grill

I got my wings west grill from jegs about a month ago, and immediately i noticed how crappy the quality was. I started to wetsand it and noticed that the water was seeping into these little pores that covered it. The shop had to put tons of primer all over it to fill them all in (consequently making the paint very weak).

After it was all painted and finished it looked all wavy. and of course my car is black so it made the imperfections stand out even more.

Anyone else have problems like this? If so, how did you fix them?

Contact Jegs, and inform them of your dilemma. Maybe they're willing to help! Good luck!

My WW grill was like this also. You have to follow the directions that came with the grill really good. There are several phases of cleaning and prepping that you have to do. You cant just start spraying primer cause it will seep into little pores. I guess you could put enough primer on it but I wouldnt do it like that.I went through this process so I do know about it.

My WW grille has been at the bodyshop for a couple of days now. So your not the only one with some problems regarding the grille.

Mine came already painted and it looked great. Now after a year it has one small fleck of paint chipping off, but could be caused by anything, probably a rock hit.

Just wait until you try to put the thing on with the 3M tape and get it to stay! IMO the mounting for it is junk!
