Street - Strip Aluminum Driveshafts.

6061-T6 Dom tubing gives the most concentric Aluminum Driveshaft available. High strength aluminum tube yokes are Mig welded with less than 10 thousands total run out. The aluminum driveshaft is electronically balanced to less than 1/4 oz/in to assure vibration free operation.

-Highly polished

-3 1/2 diameter / 120 wall alum.

-cryo treated slip yoke and u-joints

-track tested to 1200 HP

-shafts weigh approx 14#'s

These shafts are made to be direct fit for most popular applications. stock rear , 12 bolt, 9" , S60. They all come with the 1350 rear yoke, so if going to a stock 10 bolt a conversion U-Joint would be needed Napa P/N 447.

I'm changing to try and save weight anywhere in the driveline. This will be about 4-5#'s lighter then the CM. I also took 10# off my crank by a pulley swap and converter change. These little things all add up for HP in the end :)

stronger and it would require a conversion u-joint as mentioned since the 10 bolt has a smaller/weaker yoke

I think it will work out and I did the early orders since some seemed to need their driveshafts sooner.

Larry, I have an M6 with a Moser 12 bolt. My LPE 3.5" driveshaft is stock length, but it's too long for the 12 bolt. It's so tight, I can barely get it out of the rear yoke when removing it. I believe this will require a custom length, but which pricing structure would this fall under?

I'm pretty much in for the GP either way. I was intending to order a PST shaft shortly anyway.

They have bolt-in shafts for 4L60E/T56 to 12 bolt, S60 and 9".

The price will be $399.99

Ok, just to confirm. The fitment they have for the M6/12 bolt is shorter than stock, correct? That's my biggest concern.

PST is 1/8" shorter for a 12 bolt v's their 10 bolt shaft.

44 1/4 v's 44 3/8

We are not sure what the LPE shaft measures at, but we can assure you the shaft will fit properly.

I was on the fence as to whether I wanted to order a custom length or go with the direct replacement. With our snowstorm here on the east coast, I didn't get a chance to get under the car and measure this week, so I guess I'll call today and order the direct since you assure me it will fit correctly.
