Default i got a question about the unlock button on the clicker.

When you press it, is it only supposed to open the driver door? or is there a way to open the passanger door also without having to press the unlock button on the driver's door?

my lt1 was the the same way and i thought it was because it had a shitty alarm on it, but my ls1 does it also....opinions?

there is a way to have them unlock both doors at once. it involves spicing 2 wires together on a harness behind the passenger side kick panel

^^^ that sounds like it would be nice. worth looking into. maybe when i get my keyless entry fixed i will do some wire splicin.

sorry to steal the thread but has anyone tried the ebay keyless entry things? i was thinking of trying it before taking to a dealership and paying them over $100 to reprogram it. i broke my remote

+1 on pushing it twice. its like that on every car with keyless entry that ive seen. sucks when your trying to let in a passenger that is too quick with the handle though.

Are you talking about buying a used GM remote off of Ebay? You can pick one up for around $30 and program it yourself-it's easy as outrunning a Mustang. The how-to is in your owner's manual. Or, I'm sure you could ask us or google it...

or instead of going through all the trouble you can learn how to hit the unlock button twice. Hope this helps.

I actually prefer it the factory way. I personally don't see a reason why I'd want both doors unlocked simultaneously...
