Is a ls2 throttle body the same as a ls3 throttle body?

I am asking because i have a c6 with the ls2 and i have a ls3 throttle body brand new in the box that i was hoping was bigger. Just trying to make more power. lol

Send the new one out to get it ported. When you get it back, put it on and sell the original. Done properly by someone who knows what they're doing will get you a few more HP and better throttle response. PM me if you want a recommendation.
