Ford to Chevy driveshaft
Ive never screwed with transmissions and drive shafts before, but if i go to a 4L60e, and keep my ford 8.8 rear, other than shorten/lengthen the driveshaft, what do i need to do? Will the yoke fit the transmission ok?

OK so what all will i need? I got a brand new steel drive shaft and u joints recently that's why im asking. I know i will have to have it modified in length most defiantly. But will my yoke go into the 4l60/65? Or will that need to be changed too? I got a donor corvette with parts so i can take that one if i need too. Just trying to get all my parts before i do my swap, need as little downtime as possible in the vehicle.

I "think" the stock driveshaft slip yoke for a A4 f-body is 27 spline. I know the T56 uses a 27 spline slip yoke and I am pretty sure the auto uses the same. If that is the case, you can order a slip yoke from Moser for about $90 that is setup for a 1350 u-joint. Hope this helps.
