I'm completely new to LS1's/T56's...so can someone please tell me what these sensors are?

Red spot...is this where the CAGs would go?

Blue spot...VSS?

Green spot....???

And on the passenger side of the transmission about mid way through there is another sensor. Is this the reverse lights?

Can someone also tell me the plug/wiring colors that go to these sensors? Most of them look like they have the same plug; I don't want to mix it all up!

You have no picture to reference, but I'll guess:

Red == CAGS
Blue == VSS
Green == Reverse Lockout
RHS == Rev lights switch

I don't see any thin in the CAGS spot thought looks like it is plugged? sounds like this is going into a hot rod or something? If so then just leave it plugged, it will work just fine that way everybody hates CAGs it causes a forced shift from 1st to 4th.

as for wiring the rest of the sensors try autozone they have a free reapir section on there web site, and if you look under 94 camaro LT1 T56, then got to wiring diagrams, they should show them for the transmission, now that you know what each sensor is! Good luck.

It's plugged..I think it looks a hell of alot better like that.
That's a pic of my T56..I guess you can say its in a Hot Rod..

It was the only picture I could find that clearly showed all the sensor spots.

It was the first good T56 picture that came up when I searched LS1tech through google.
