Dont laugh nitrous question
I have no idea how it works. what bottle pressure is. wat a window switch is and what it does. does it hurt the motor? dry? wet? nozzels? shot size? purging the shot?
does anyone have a site, fbody specific i can read up on? i really want to learn about this because its cheap HP. thanks
EDIT: searched through the nitrous section but didnt really find the answers i was looking for

quick and easy-nitrous is a power adder, basically more fuel will make power, but needs more air---nitrous. it basically allows the motor to burn more fuel and aids it in the 'oxygen' department.
bottle pressure goes along with tuning, basically like the temperature outside (having a hard time explaining this) typically want to spray around 900-1000psi the lower the bottle pressure, richer it will be, higher pressure----leaner, basically how much nitrous compared to fuel. use heaters or external pressure to control bottle pressure.
window switch is a safety item, so you dont spray at too high or low an rpm, too low can cause backfires, too high can cause overreving, or possibly fuel shutdown, lean spike (melted pistons)
hurt motor-seen lots of people run nitrous for a long time...its all in the tune.
dry-basically you just shoot nitrous (and nitrous only) into the engine, and your fuel injectors add the additional fuel. typically seen sprayed before the MAF so it reads "hey way more air, add some fuel"
wet-sprays nitrous and fuel through a jet (or multiples) or plate, fuel can come from your fuel tank (rail) or from a dedicated fuel system (high octane baby!!!) fuel injectors stay on same pulse.
purge-extra solenoid that allows nitrous line to be full and out of possible air bubbles.
fbody specific page, your there man, go to the nitrous section and check out the stickys and do some searching!
good luck!
