Default Upgrade Rear End

I have seen many posts inferring that 04-05 rear ends have been upgraded to 06s. How did those of you that did upgrade accomplish this with the dealers. Is this an automatic warranty issue or do you have to blow the 04-05 first?

fold down the back seats if you want and put something in there to give a reason to fold them down......take it in and say the rear ending is making an intermittent whine. you dont have to fold the seats down but if your dealer is picky whether its bad or not they will "hear" it because it amplifies the sound when the seats are down. should be an easy fix if the car is under warranty.

So the whine in the rear is enough to have it replaced/upgraded?

The whine in mine is getting worse at 74,xxx. I have space on the warranty so I guess letting it get worse is the best bet.
