Default tranny mount...

so i was trying to diagnose a problem i had with tranny and it spittin 4th gear out once i let of on the clutch pedal.. i had a couple people tell me it was the shift fork but it only does it in fourth and 6th gear .. its alot worse in 4th than in 6th by the way... it feels as if the transmission is bouncing and i hear it hitting the middle of the car up and down when i hit a bump or when i throw into a higher gear a little earlier than i should.. for example goin from 1st to 5th .. im thinking it could be a transmision mount maybe .. once the gears are engaged, they stay in they dont spit out no matter what speed or how hard i nail the throttle..... any ideas?

That doesnt sound like just a mount at all to me. If the shifter bounces up and down and thats all yeah i'd say it was the mount. But if it doesn't want to go into gear it sounds like a shift fork or other internal problem

mine does the bounce problem but no problem with staying in gear. i know its the trans mount because its a t56 with a 4L60 trans mount rigged in to hold it up ( not my work , previous owner ) so it must be a shift fork or internals
