Default 10 swap

wat would i lose goin to a 10 bolt out of 97 T.A in my 2000 ss, traction control, antilok brakes? and do both rear end have that hole in top

First you need to see what gears are in it. Also i believe 98 is when the rear breaks changed so yeas you will lose traction control and abs

If both are a 3 channel you wont lose anything unless the brakes are indeed different which I think they are. Its not hard to make a 3 channel into a four channel if the current 10 bolt you have is a 4 channel. All you need to do is swap your backing plates and axles into the 3 channel and use the brake lines from your 4 channel and just leave the sensor at the top of the pumkin alone. I just did this and did not lose my ABS or TCS, but I am not sure about a 10 bolt out of an LT1 car.

I have a 10 bolt housing, 3 channel backing plates, axles, and brake lines if you need any of that.

i think mine is a 3 channel outa that 97 it has 373, eaton posi and im pretty sure my ss is a 4 channel
