Default question on ball joints

this isnt for my car but a s10 i had a upper ball joint snap and its rivited on, and im no where near a electrical source so i cant get a grinder to grind the rivits.

any suggestions for me

A very sharp chisel, a small, 2 pound sledge hammer, and a little patience...

What leadfoot4 said, and if you have a good angle on them, you might be able to get a cordless drill in there.

cool thanks guys! a chisel never came to mind,but ive been running on 4hr sleep days for awhile lol

It may not be fun, but I did the job several times, with the hand held chisel, until I finally A) built myself a garage to work in; B) an air compressor; and C) an air chisel...

+ 1 on the air chisel. Did it the old fashioned way on two of my Z-71's.
