Default Trunk rattle?

I Get a pretty bad rattle that sounds like it's coming from trunk hatch area. It kinda sounds like my hatch is loose. I can definatley hear it from inside the car when driving, Has anyone had an issue with the trunk latch breaking?

Check your spare tire and jack if you have them, make sure they're tight. Check the two rubber bump stop adjusters on the left and right side of the hatch. If they're all the way in the hatch and not touching the body, then they're not putting tension on the latch to prevent rattles. If that checks out, then shut the hatch and try rattling it by hand. The latch mechanisms have been known to go bad but if it still works then chances are it might not be your issue.

My hatch hits my interior where my rear speakers are, and that causes some rattles for me. So check that out
