10 Second Club - Want to get that 10 sec status!

Well I bought my first f-body. I grew up with the good old carb motors. My last project was a 468 BB chevy in a 1993 reg cab short box truck with air ride. Anyway I purchased a 2000 Z28 that has quite a bit of work done to it. The motor has ported ls6 intake and ported throttle bodie, ported stock casting heads. arp head studs, arp rod bolts, hooker headers, healthy cam, comp rollers. The car has a NX wet kit with 150 shot of juice. It has a art carr th400 with brake and a neil chance 3500 stall. 9 inch rear end with 390's car has had alot of front and rear suspension work done to it. I think that is a quick break down of the car. Here is a video of it running. Want to now if I can get that 10 sec club. Oh yeah, I am new here If you have not noticed. :nod:

So I put the request in, posted this. What do you have to do to get in this 10 sec club. I feel like a ghost!

nice lookin car but be a little patient and do what the sticky says once u are accepted u have to go back and switch ur club urself

Sorry for the late reply. Has ac delete and back seat is out that is it. I might try and lighten it up this summer. But I am lazy..ha ha. The car is used for bracket racing to answer your question (Coach 02). :D

damn nice loookin car, i'm assuming the hood is a light weight hood as well?? What is the weight of that thing then?? I'm doing some weight reduction to my pig now and just curious. Thing leaves the line hard!!

Never weighed the car. LOL. It is a fiberglass ss hood and ss lid on back. It is a hard top with chrome moly cage and th400 and 9 inch. So I am sure it is not to light? I will have to weigh it this summer. I want to get it into the 9's we will see if I can make that happen when the weather gets nice. Still have a ways to go. But not out of reach! Maybe I can get my freind to bring his 4 corner scale system over and I can get you some #'s.

I really like the new car (white z) REAL WELL. NICE A+, hard top, race car, is that a small tub job (rear tires)?

It is not mini tubbed but it is a narrowed 9 inch. There is no room for anymore tire at this point. It is lowered pretty far. I belive it is 3 inches each side if I remember correct.

Mirrors would look pretty good black. Never really thought about that? As for the vette I am not sure what really happened? Thank you for the compliment on the black. I have people tell me they hate it and people say they love it. I like how it stands out. Its not so..... normal?
