fastest 60ft on nitto drag radials?
my street tires aare 315/35 nitto drag radials and i am wondering what kind of 60ft times people have got out of them. so far im not to impressed with them but they are much better than any other street tire i have ran and has excellent tire life. i will be switching to some sticky mickeys after these are gone but i want to see what others have gotten with the nittos and i would like to know what your setup is. this might help people decide whether or not to buy these in the future.

They are a street tire for higher HP cars.
For drag racing, in the DR market, there has been tons of stuff that came out in the past 4-5 years that is far better.
I use Nitto on my car for the street, but when I go to the track I bolt on a set of 26" tall Bias Ply slick.

ya i completely agree with you guys the nitto is nowhere close to a drag tire. but there is no comparison in the nitto and all the other tires i have run on the back of mine. they are just my street tires but i will have to use them as my track tires for a little bit until i get the suspension finished up and can afford a set of draglites and slicks. so i was just seeing what everyone had gotten out of the nittos.

My best on a 315 Nitto was a 1.72, after I heated the crap out of it. I run MT's for racing and the Nittos are street only now. The MT's can match that best 60 with not even half the amount of burnout time.

My ol' lady's 01 SS wouldn't hook for **** at the track with her 255-60-15 Nitto's but on the street it would dead hook! Her car just had a set of long tubes, lid, cutout, and a 100 shot on it. It is an auto and I could spray it right off the line on the street and it would dead hook. I outran alot of cars that I probably shouldn't have been able to because of that LOL

I know a guy who pulled the front tires on 275/40/17 Nittos.. To this day I really have no clue how this car worked so well, but somehow it hooked great on those tires.. Bone stock suspension aside from some non-adjustable shocks.. Stock Shortblock 2000 Z28. 5.3L Heads, TR224, 4L60 and a 4400 stall, along with a stock 10bolt and 4.10 gears..
I think it went a best of 1.44

I cut a few 1.66 on 305/35/18 nitto drag radials. The only time they dead hooked at the track i broke the rearend and tranny haha, so i dont know what that 60ft was. I would guess somewhere in the high 1.5s. That was on a 18" drag radial too
