Default Anyone got a 9in narrowed 2.5in on each side????

Looking for pics and info on a 9in narrowed 2.5in on each side. I can get a really good deal on a 9in out of a 3rd gen, which i know is 1.5in shorter on each side then my stock 98 rear, but the guy had it narrowed another inch on each side for a total of 2.5in shorter then my stock rear. Just wondering if it would fit my car without minitubs(I DNT WANNA MINI TUBE IT), and what BS of wheel i would need if it would work for me????????

The amount of backspace you need depends how wide your wheel is. Take the amount of backspace your rear wheels have now, subtract 2.5" from that number and that is the amount of backspace you'll need for the narrowed rearend as long as the new wheels are the same width.

I just ordered a new housing/axles narrowed 3" per side and plan to run 15x10 wheels with a 4.5" backspace.
