Should I upgrade to EFI Live V6? Stick with V5?

Default Should I upgrade to EFI Live V6? Stick with V5?

Any input on if you like version 6 better is appreciated. Is there anything that you cannot do in version 6 that you can in 5? Any feedback at all is appreciated. Thanks.

if you have v5 then why not upgrade since its free :shrug:. i've yet to upgrade mine yet but i cant wait to try out the new a/f ration bi-directional control

If/When you install V6.2 you can leave V5 installed, there is no requirement to uninstall V5. V6.2 is called an "upgrade" but is actually a completely seperate product from V5.

You can even run both V5 and V6 at the same time - just not both connected to a vehicle.

V5 has spark and fuel "maps" that can be used to temporarily override the PCM's spark and/or fuel calibrations. V6 does not yet have those "maps" implemented. Instead it has one AFR override: absolute, and two spark overrides: absolute and delta.

V6 has many features that V5 does not see this page for details:
