Default just lowered my car i have some questions

ok i got the bmr lowering kit, few questions

-left front makes a weird noise, right front used to make the same noise before like something is loose but everything is tight, is that normal...its like a knocking noise. i thought it might be the springs hitting.

-the bottom of the springs pretty much touch each other. is that ok? car feels bouncier dont know if its just cause i have to let these set in or what.

-i have LCA's and have them in the lowest spot is that ok?

-adjusted the panhard to center the rear, is there anything else that needs to be done or am i good to go?

thanks guys and Merry Christmas

did you replace the shocks as well or just the springs?

Hard to say with out looking and riding in it , But I would suspect the upper shock nut to be loose . usually happens when reusing oldshocks because the threads are usually bummed up.

As for the springs touching , Those may be the what they call dead coils . their only purpose is to keep the spring from moving around on the shock when at full wheel droop.

If the car feels bouncier , then your newsprings could be over powering your shocks , or there just wore out .
Like I said it is hard to say with out riding in it.

well like i said i checked EVERYTHING and its all tight. the top screw on the strut is tight on both sides. right to where the top and bottom piece touch and it cant go any lower. ill just give it all time to work in cause the springs are brand new and the slp bilsteins arent old at all only a month or 2. car is feeling like its getting stiffer. maybe the springs need to just be used a little. and like i said about that "knocking" noise i heard it from the right front after i did the shocks and struts and when i too everything off it was all really tight too. my friends couldnt hear anything unusual so i guess its just me lookin for problems....

If the shock boot is bouncing around then that indicates the shock nut is loose. The boot's top is sandwiched between the shock mount and the shock stop.

I just did mine two months ago and had the same problem up front. Did you tighten everything by hand? We did and that little boot over the shock was the culprit. The next morning we took the two front assemblies over to Midas and ole Charlie hit the bolts with his gun and WHALLA no more noise once we got them back on. Also, be sure to grease the hell outta those LCA and brackets. I also had my Corsa adjusted because it was hitting the rear axle a little on these terrible West Central Louisiana roads!!!
