Default Grinding noise.

Hey everyone, this is my first post here.

I've been getting this noise from my left front side when driving on the freeway and hitting a left bend in the road. The faster I go, the lounder it gets. It sounds like a rubbing noise. I had an alignment done and everything was fine. There is no visible rubbing on the wheel well and I do not see any unusual wear on the tire. The noise is really annoying and I have had the dealership look at it and they said it was the "sway bar bushings" which they replaced. It still makes the noise after they finished. Then they said it was tire noise. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone and have a happy holidays

I would question if the aligment shop checked for front wheel hub play.

Sounds suspiciously like a front bearing. What year model and how many miles?

I would say the same thing.
Does the noise change at speed, if you "saw" the wheel left to right?
An alignment shop & the dealer missed this one???

Yes the noise changes when I saw the wheel. Louder as it goes more left, quieter as it comes back to center.

I will take it back to the dealer and tell them to check the front bearing.

Thanks everyone.

Thats your problem then & it sounds like the right bearing , cause it noisy w/a load placed on it.

Thanks guys. I went on vacation and dropped my car off at the dealership. They replaced both sides and I only paid $100, gotta love the warranty.

Thanks again.
