i have the SLP loudmouth system on my car with the single exhaust tips, i bought a set of dual tips off a member here and they are sweet looking, as it turns out the SLP system is not 3" all the way back(did not know this) the new tip inlet is 2 3/4 is it possible to expand the end of the SLP pipe to fit the new tips?

Yes take them to a exhaust shop to stretch them. The manual pipe expanders would have a tough time expanding them that much.
