Hey guys, I'm probably picking up an 06 C6 and the front brake pads need service. What pads should I look into? Also, can the rotors be cut or are they replacement only?

What are some good C6 corvette websites/forums to browse?

What are some things I should look for on this year. I know the 05's had rear end problems, haven't heard much about the 06's though.

I've mainly been on Ls1 Camaro boards because that is what I have and have had. Now that I'm upgrading, I am lost once again.

"Corvette Forum" is a a wealth of info.

You will find good info regarding each year of the C6's. Most of the 05 Kinks were sorted in 06.

Two size of Brake Rotors depending if you are Z51 option. Z06 is different again. Not sure if you can turn the rotor's or not. You will find good discussion regarding Brake Pads there as well.

good luck on your purchase. I bought a 2007 last spring and like it a lot. I spend time on the corvette forum. lots of BS stuff but a lot of good info also.

Yes, rotors can be turned as long as there is enough meat on them. Yep, CorvetteForum has a lot of good info on it.
