Are these number OK or a bit low?
I've got a '04 GTO LS1 w/M6 trans that I've done quite a few mods on. The engine stuff is as follows, stock bottom end, new ls7 lifters and trays, Edelbrock 61919 heads (202 cc intake runners), Comp Cam XR269HR-14 cam (216*/220*, .525"/.532" on 114 LSA), Comp Cam 7.350 push rods and trunion bearing upgrades. I also have JBA shorty headers, P&P stock TB, MAF pipe and K&N air filter.
After installing the heads I went for a dyno tune and these are my RW numbers: 348.6 hp @ 5,600 rpm and 352.5 tq @ 4,750 rpm. The numbers are good and flat with 325+ hp from 4,800-6,500 rpm and 340+tq from 4,000-5,300 rpm.
The goat is my daily driver it runs strong and pulls like a freight train. I didn't build it for large numbers just a strong street car my wife can also drive. I just think theses numbers are low. I've seen where these heads were good for 50+rwhp on a camaro with stock cam and LT headers. The cam should be good for around 35 or so hp. I know you cannot add the two together and look for that gain.
Please tell me what you think. Thanks
