Exclamation Need help!!! Asap oil dipstick!!! 911!!!

I need someone to post up some picks of where the oil dipstick is positioned asap... Im trying to reinstall it and I didnt see were it was at when the guy took it off. PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!

Nevermind! I got it... Thanks ya'll... Also just fabbed my CAI and did the install but I dont have the heatshield... Is it needed?

i've read that it is but in my opinion....if the car is moving then you are flowing air thru the engine compartment. right? so what's the point? if its on a dyno, then you're not getting the ram air effect so therefore you are pulling air from the engine compartment. like i said..... thats just my opinion.

whistler said somewhere that his tuner said his hot air intake was holding him back.... just make a shroud out of a waste paper basket.. i have seen a site that has a DIY but cant seem to find it now

i'm still gonna do a heat shield on mine just because but i was just saying....

i'm tryin to make one out of some clear plastic. we'll see how that goes.

A heat shield is better than no heat shield. With that being said, if you don't have a heat shield, it's not that big of a deal. My car pulls hard with a cone filter. With a stock (tune and cat back) V my numbers with cone filter v. stock box were about 2rwhp higher. So I believe that a cone with no heat shield is still better than stock. With a heat shield it's even better. Especially when you really start really modding.

After my cam, my tuner told me the hot air intake was holding me back. But then again, so are my stock heads.
