I have a set of sportlines from my brothers LT1 car, they have never been used and I was wondering if I can use them, it would save me alot of money

no problemo. u could also try and see if you are satisfied with the way it sits. those springs may or may not sit the way u want. its kind of hit or miss since i cant provide a definite answer
...well thats if you were willing to take the time to install them and possibly uninstall them if you werent satisfied. someone may chime in that has tried also

lt1 springs will fit ls1 cars. weight differences/distribution is minimal between ls1 and lt1 cars. many spring manufacturers make the same exact set for both cars.
here's some info on spring rates:

looks like the ls1 and lt1 sportlines are the same, just the prokit differs.
just something to think about, sportlines are LOW. and barely stiffer than stock. you will be riding the bump stops. do a search on them and you may be convinced to sell them and buy something worth installing.

They will work but really Sportlines are the WORST spring you can run as rates are WAY too low for the decreased spring travel. Shocks are also needed as the OEM suck with stock springs and will quickly fail with the lower sportlines which they cannot control anyway..... They are poorly designed period..... I don't understand it because Eibach makes OK mustang stuff......
