i was looking at the Fast toys lid's and the lid i want only works with a 85 mm maf.
I was told that i would able to use maf from gm suv
from 02 and up because gm decided to make them 85 mm maf or something like that.

The aftermarket MAF come with an adaptor. so would i be able to use one from those?
or is there a special adaptor for the ones from the gm suv?

Most cars don't handle a different MAF very well. Often, tuners will suggest going back to the stock unit, as it’s more than capable of handling up to 500+hp, and much easier to tune.

I got the 85 MaF for free already. but if i have to retune the car i'll rather
use the money for something else.

Yeah, probably wise to spend your money elsewhere.

What lid was it btw?

EDIT: This one? If you're not pushing a ton of power, just get a regular lid. Pretty much all lids perform the same, I'd suggest SLP because of it's good fit

I wired the 85mm MAF into my car..

All you need to do is get the Connector, and look at it closely. The MAF has the IAT built into it, so you have to wire that in with the 3 MAF wires too..all the wiring was the same color for me so it worked great.
