Default Hardly goes into ANY gear

Well here is the story on my car and my problems; ill try to make it short and sweet.

I have owned my 95 T/A for about a year and a half now, and a Ram "muslecar" clutch was installed by the previous owner. I dont recall how long it was doing this, but with the clutch to the floor when at a stop, and shifting into either 1st or reverse the car would move slightly and is still doing that as of right now but i dont believe it does it any more extreme than it was.

Now tonight, I have having a few "spirited" runs and it was becoming harder and harder to shift into ANY gear at all. By the time i made it home, it was blatantly obvious that a lot more force would have to be applied to the shifter to get it to go in gear. Reverse seems to be the worse to where no matter how much force is applied it wont go in and would sometime grind instead.

My thoughts is that either the Master Cyl. or Slave cyl. is not holding pressure. there seems to be the adequate amount of fluid in the reservoir still.

Thank you for any help

try bleeding the system first. sounds like you may have some air bubbles.

Its an LT1 car, it bleeds itself. Plus that wouldn't explain why its dramatically worse now.

Could be a seized pilot bearing, or your trans may be extremely low on fluid.

Check the trans itself and look for any leaks, then pull the fill plug and make sure its full.

There is nothing wrong with your trans. The clutch is not disengaging all the way. If I had to guess, it would be your slave or clutch fork.
