I haven't seen them for a 10 bolt either. What setup do you have that your wanting that steep of a gear in the weak 10 bolt?

from what i have read its really not that bad for a 6-speed car...but on the other hand i do alot of 1/8th mile racing...just like to go with a little more than a 4.10....

BTW, i have a 4.10 gear to fit a 3.42 car and down (yea i bought the wrong one)

Nothing wrong with 4.30s, I have them in my M9 and love em. I was just curious to the setup that you had in mind to use them with.

I'm sure you know this but the 10 bolt is a ticking time bomb. I blew mine twice before getting the 9inch. The first time was with heads/cam and it went on the 1-2 shift with some Nitto DRs. It shredded the worm gears off the torsen unit, and I guess some broken parts got in between the ring and pinion cause it chipped off 1 of the ring gear teeth. The next time it went on launch and it shredded the pinion gear and ring gear and demolished the carrier.

yea ive been in an fbody for almost 6 years now...ive always had good luck outta my rears but i know alot of people say they are weak...if something happens ill go back with a 12 bolt and im not worried cause i got a DD haha...but yea my last car (befor my current SS) was a H/C 99 Z28 44X RWHP 42X RWTQ and i had many 6500 RPM clutch drops with it pullin 1.6 60 ft times on DR's with NO issues outta the rear...but who knows, one more time to the track could have did it in

but anways...if someone could help me find a set of 4.30's NEW thatd be great...and also do u guys think that a 4.56 would be to much gear...my current car is pretty much a bolton car for right now but will have a cam befor long...
