Default is there a big difference goin from 273s to 373s?

I'm getting my 373 gears put in this week, i dropped the car off today, i have 273s now, i dont know what to expect. is it goin to be a huge difference or just a few tenths off the 1/4 mile. i was thinking they would put me in the high 12s.

That's awesome, I SO want to do this to mine. Are there any drawbacks to the 3.42's? Did you notice a big drop in mileage?

i went from 2.73's to 3.42's to 3.73's. 3.73's are a lot of fun and i think i was still in the 18mpg range. 3.42's there was little difference from the 2.73 in milage as long as u keep ur foot outta it

I went from 2.73's to 3.73's in my A4. have not been to track, but by seat of the pants I can tell you, the 3.73's turned mine into an animal! Totally different car! Best mod I've done so far!

Hmmm, I do alot of highway. That's the one thing I like about my 2.73's.

Eh, it's probably worth the trade-off, the car just feels so doggy with 2.73's.

2.73s suck *****, for the record.

Seriously, your car is gonna have more power available everywhere so they are a nice SOTP for autos. However, it wont gain you as much at the track as some other mods, and in fact 3.73s on street tires can be hard to get traction off the line. So factor that in as well. Overall a good mod IMO. Im running 3.73s.

I wish especially on longer trips I had my 3.23's back. You will see a gain but you get a trade-off
